The Dean of the Graduate Studies College meets with the college students at Al al-Bayt University.
The Dean of the Graduate Studies College, Professor Ahmed Al-Khazali, met with the new students at the college in the presence of the Deputy Dean, Dr. Mohammad Shdaifat, the Assistant Dean, Mr. Nidal Al-Shuqran, several deputies of deans from various colleges, and members of the teaching and administrative staff at the university.
Dean Al-Khazali began the meeting by welcoming the college students, conveying the greetings of the esteemed President of the University, Professor Osama Nasser, and welcoming them as graduate students, congratulating them on joining the community of students at the university.
He provided a brief overview of the Graduate Studies College, introducing its organizational structure and the offered programs such as master's degrees, doctorates, and higher diplomas.
The Dean pointed out that the learning rate is high in Jordan and that the goal of the Graduate Studies College at Al-Bayt University should be more than just acquiring knowledge—namely, excellence. Therefore, Al-Bayt University will strive to ensure that graduates of the Graduate Studies College have a distinctive character in the job market, ensuring that their submitted thesis aligns with modern developments in the job market. This is what the college administration aspires to achieve, with research topics that have value, studied with precision and care to meet community needs without redundancy.
Additionally, the Dean stated that the administration will work to conduct workshops addressing market requirements, needs, and topics that are important to the local community, particularly in the city of Mafraq, which requires numerous studies and workshops on documentation and others.
For his part, Dr. Mohammad Shdeifat, the Deputy Dean of the Graduate Studies College, discussed several important topics for the students, including the importance of the academic calendar, issues and challenges facing students, financial support for thesis projects, computerized models, and writing the thesis using the programming software (LATEX).
Mr. Mohammad Al-Qallab, Head of the Supervision and Committees Division, Dr. Mariam Al-Huwaidi, Head of the Student Affairs Division, and Mr. Obadeh Hassan, a representative from the Graduate Studies Division in the Admissions and Registration Department, participated in responding to students' questions and inquiries.
