Nusair meets with a Malaysian delegation to discuss areas of cooperation between the Al al-Bayt and the Islamic University College in the state of Jaouhar Al Sultan Ibrahim, Malaysia, and signs a joint memorandum of understanding with them.

The President of Al al-Bayt University, Professor Osama Nusair, received in his office the CEO of the Higher Council for Islamic Affairs in jaouhar, Haji Nasri bin Mad Ali, along with his accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by the Vice President for International Relations, Professor Hani Akho Irshaideh, and the Director of the International Relations Office, Dr. Laith Abu Aleiyqa. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation and the potential to strengthen relations. Nusair provided an overview of the university's programs, goals, message, and future vision, which focuses on expansion and attracting students from various Malaysian universities and academic institutions. He highlighted the new programs the university is offering to align with labor market needs and to keep pace with global changes and developments, which stem from the university's mission of promoting Islam and nurturing a generation armed with knowledge and faith, built on moderation, balance, and communication with others.

The head of the Malaysian delegation, the CEO of the Higher Council for Islamic Affairs in Johor, expressed admiration for the university's distinguished level, its faculties, and its various programs and scientific disciplines. He emphasized that the Higher Council for Islamic Affairs in Johor is committed to making this cooperation successful, hoping it enhances relations between Malaysia and Jordan across all fields and opens more cooperation between students and teachers from both sides for the exchange of knowledge, technology, and culture.

The memorandum aims to increase the close educational relationships between the university and the Islamic University College in Johor, enhancing the exchange of experiences among faculty members, cooperating in educational curriculum development, holding joint conferences and seminars, and exchanging student scholarships between the two entities.

At the end of the meeting, both parties exchanged shields, and the visiting delegation, which included Dato Haji Mohammad Noah, Mohammad Sanusi Muhammad Noah, and Yazid bin Bahrain from the Higher Council for Islamic Affairs in Jaouhar, took a tour in the city of Mafraq that included a visit to the Jordan-Syria border to closely observe the investment and educational environment.
