Nusair congratulates Al-Ruhaybeh on the inclusion of Um Al-Jemal tourist site in the World Heritage list.
The president of Al al-Bayt University, Dr. Osama Nusair, visited the municipality and met with its head, Hasan Al-Ruhaybeh.
During his visit to the Umm Al-Jamal municipality, Professor Dr. Osama Nusair congratulated Hassan Al-Ruhaybeh for the site being added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Dr. Nusair appreciated the significant efforts made by everyone, especially the Umm Al-Jemal municipality represented by its president, Hassan Al-Ruhayba, in achieving this win, which will contribute to enhancing the tourism sector and development in the region, given the area’s unique global archaeological importance.
Dr. Nusair confirmed the university's commitment to cooperating and coordinating joint programs and projects between Al al-Bayt University and the municipality.
For his part, Hassan Al-Ruhaybeh thanked President Dr. Osama Nusair for this visit and congratulations, highlighting his efforts and commitment to openness between the university and all national institutions. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the university and the municipality to successfully advance the objectives and accomplishments achieved.
Al-Ruhaybeh pointed out that the fruitful cooperation with Al al-Bayt University resulted from joint efforts that served both sides across all fields, emphasizing the significance of the tourism site and the roles of the municipality and relevant ministries in getting the site recognized as a World Heritage site.
