On behalf of the Minister of Education, Dr. Azmi Mohafaza, the university president, Professor Osama Nusair, inaugurated the scientific conference titled "Teaching Strategies for the Arabic Language - Developed Curricula," organized by the Directorate of Education for the Western Northern Badia in collaboration with the university and the Planning Department (Ministry of Education), with the participation of numerous researchers from the Ministry of Education. The event was attended by members of the scientific committee from the university's faculty, the university's vice president, Professor Omar Al-Otain, several department directors from Mafraq, and other interested parties, held at the Bakhit Auditorium at the university. 

During the opening, Dr. Nusair emphasized that Al al-Bayt University is fully committed to collaborating and engaging with the community to enhance it's leading role. He noted that the conference contributes to realizing the integrated royal vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein in developing, enhancing, modernizing, and keeping up with scientific and global developments to maintain Jordan's esteemed position regionally and internationally, strengthen it's national security, and develop it's resources. He stressed the importance of studying the strategies of the developed curricula and ensuring their quality and relevance to serve the educational process and future generations. 

The Director of Education for the Western Northern Badia and chair of the conference's preparatory committee, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shrafat, stated that this conference aligns with the Directorate's vision to adopt quality initiatives and enacts cooperative approaches between the university and the directorate. He highlighted the significance of teachers participating in educational conferences as they provide the latest methods and opportunities for knowledge and experience exchange in the field of education. 

Dr. Khetam Mohasneh, on behalf of the conference participants, thanked the university president, representative of the conference sponsor, for the efforts made by the university in guidance, organization, and coordination. 

The representative of the Minister of Education, university president Professor Osama Nusair, honored the participants of the scientific conference with appreciation certificates, while Director Al Shrafat presented ashield​ from the directorate to Dr. Nusair, who announced the commencement of the first sessions of the conference, chaired by Professor Youssef Meqaddadi, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the university, where several research papers were presented by various participants from the different education directorates in the northern region.​
