Announcement for the opening of the second round of applications for enrollment in the parallel bachelor's program at Al al-Bayt University for the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025 for Jordanian students.

Starting from the morning of Thursday, October 3, 2024,

Al al-Bayt University announces the commencement of accepting applications for enrollment in the parallel bachelor's degree program for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. This is for those who have obtained a General Secondary Education Certificate or its equivalent from within or outside Jordan with an average of 65% or higher, and for community college students who have obtained a diploma with an average of 68% or higher in the comprehensive examination, or 70% or higher for engineering majors. Applications are to be submitted electronically, and there is no need to visit the university, as detailed below.

Important Notes:

1. Students can submit only one application for the desired specialties, but they are allowed to submit more than one application.

2. The student is responsible for any inapplicability of the conditions to them, any incorrect information submitted, or for not accurately specifying the desired specialty or choosing a specialty that does not match their high school grade and branch. Otherwise, the university has the right to revoke the student's acceptance at any time, and the applicant bears full legal and financial responsibility and has no right to request a refund of any fees paid.

3. Students who pass the community college or labor market track (those who achieve a score of 40% in any subject) are not permitted to submit an application for admission. If they are accepted into the university, they will face legal and financial consequences and can be dismissed immediately at any time, with no right to a refund of any fees paid.

The submission of applications for admission will begin electronically only from the morning of Thursday, 2024/10/03.

The application must be accompanied by the following required documents only:

- A copy of the original high school transcript or its equivalent in Arabic, or the comprehensive certificate for bridging students, or a copy of the equivalency of non-Jordanian high school from the Jordanian Ministry of Education. (This should be a physical copy of the transcript, not a screenshot of the electronic results on the high school website).

- A copy of the civil status identification card.

A fee of (25 Jordanian Dinars) for the application must be paid through the electronic payment service. If more than one application is submitted, the fees must be paid for each application submitted by the student.

Conditions for admission and required documents for the parallel program:

First: Necessary admission requirements:

1. The minimum acceptance criteria according to the admission standards approved by the Higher Education Council:

(80%) for engineering majors.
(75%) for Sharia majors.
(70%) for the faculties of nursing and applied medical sciences.
(65%) for other majors.
2. The applicant must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and for bridging students, they must have passed the comprehensive examination with a score of (70%) or higher for engineering majors and (68%) for other majors.

3. The applicant must have successfully completed high school with a university track (achieving a score of 50% or higher in all subjects).

Second: Required proof documents upon registration at the university (non-refundable) - after the student has been definitively accepted:

1. An original high school transcript in Arabic for those holding the Jordanian secondary certificate or a high school transcript for students holding a non-Jordanian diploma certified by the Jordanian Ministry of Education.

2. A copy of a valid personal identification card certified by the Civil Status Department.

3. The military service booklet for Jordanian male students (deferred).
