The Academic Difficulties Encountered by the Faculty Members at Yarmouk University.
The study aimed at investigating the academic difficulties facing the faculty members at Yarmouk University, and exploring the effects of gender, academic rank, years of experience, and type of faculty on the degree of realizing such difficulties. In order to achieve the aims of this study, I developed a questionnaire that was comprised of 50 items divided into the following four categories: difficulties related to the students, difficulties related to the faculty members, difficulties related to the university administration, and difficulties related to the scientific research. The study revealed that there were academic difficulties that were encountered by the faculty members at Yarmouk University at all of the areas of the study, and these difficulties do not differ due to the difference in gender, the academic rank, and years of experience, whereas they differ because of the difference in the type of faculty.
