The Faculty of Educational Sciences hosted the initiative "Our Power Lies in Our Awareness" in collaboration with the Mafraq Youth Directorate, as part of its ongoing efforts to support youth-led initiatives within the university and the local community.

The initiative was inaugurated by the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Professor Dr. Yousef Miqdadi, who spoke about the university’s role in embracing both curricular and extracurricular activities that help equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for the labor market.

For his part, Dr. Issa Al-Harashah, Director of the Mafraq Youth Directorate, highlighted the directorate’s training role for youth aged 17–24, through supporting and institutionalizing youth initiatives, as well as through continuous training programs conducted at the youth centers across the cities and villages of Mafraq Governorate.

Trainer Mr. Faleh Al-Aleimat spoke about the themes of the initiative and the methods for achieving its goals, presenting examples through a group of Mafraq school students who had previously received training.

At the end of the event, which was moderated by Dr. Bayan Al-Madi from the Department of Educational Administration and Foundations, she emphasized the positive role of students in developing self-skills through continuous training in such impactful initiatives. A lengthy discussion followed between students and trainer Al-Aleimat regarding youth initiatives and methods for their localization and activation.
