Workshop entitled Child-Centered Digital Education

In implementation of the university's vision to provide training opportunities for its students to empower them with the skills necessary for the labor market, the Faculty of Educational Sciences held a workshop entitled "Child-Centered Digital Education."

The workshop, which was managed by the Head of the Educational Administration Department, Dr. Lotfi Al-Masaeed, and presented by the Associate Professor in the department, Dr. Bayan Al-Madhi, aimed to develop the digital education skills centered around the child among the college students. Dr. Al-Madhi spoke about the importance of digital education for childhood and its impact on the child's personality and the development of critical thinking if this is done with organized guidance and direction from the teacher and educators, techniques to control this use in a conscious and correct way, and how to face the technical, psychological, and biological challenges in an educational way.

At the end of this workshop, which will be followed by several workshops to be held this semester as part of the college's strategy to develop students' digital skills, the students participated by presenting their opinions, in which they indicated that digital education for children has become a gateway to a bright future, preparing them to face the challenges in a constantly changing digital world; which requires them, as future teachers, to master the skills of child-centered digital education.
