On Sunday, December 8, 2024, Prof. Yousef Al-Maqdadi, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, inaugurated the New Volleyball Referees Course, organized in collaboration with the Jordan Volleyball Federation. During the opening, Prof. Al-Maqdadi welcomed the international referees and lecturers from the federation, expressing his gratitude for their participation. He emphasized that today's job market demands not only academic qualifications but also specialized training courses.

Dr. Maisloon Al-Shdeideh, Head of the Physical Education Department, highlighted the importance of such courses in shaping students' personalities and enhancing their professional skills. Dr. Abdullah Khataibeh, the course coordinator, outlined the details of the lectures, their schedules, and the practical and theoretical exams.

The federation’s lecturers, Mr. Waleed Al-Najjar and Mr. Ahmad Badraneh, concluded the opening ceremony with words of appreciation for the university, emphasizing the continuous cooperation between Al al-Bayt University and the Jordan Volleyball Federation.

On Saturday, December 14, 2024, the course concluded with practical and theoretical exams. Dr. Abdullah Khataibeh noted that the initial results were promising, with several students expected to excel and join the ranks of referees within the Jordan Volleyball Federation
