Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship:
Al al-Bayt University signed an official memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship on October 12, 2023. This agreement aims to strengthen training and capacity-building in the fields of digital transformation and information technology. The initiative reflects the university’s commitment to supporting its students and academic staff by establishing collaboration channels with specialized national institutions. The Ministry plays a central role in developing the Kingdom’s digital infrastructure, fostering innovation, and promoting entrepreneurial projects.
As part of this cooperation, university students have been granted access to global training academies affiliated with major international companies, including:
Microsoft: A global leader in software development and cloud solutions, offering specialized training in cloud computing, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
Red Hat: One of the leading companies in open-source software, providing training programs in Linux systems, infrastructure technologies, and containers.
AWS (Amazon Web Services): The world’s leading provider of cloud computing services, whose academy delivers advanced training content in cloud server management, cybersecurity, and digital solution development.
Huawei: A global company specializing in communications and network technologies, offering training programs in artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and fifth-generation (5G) networks.
This cooperation aims to empower university students with globally recognized digital skills, qualifying them to enter the labor market with competence and strong competitiveness.
Pioneers Academy:
Al al-Bayt University also signed an official memorandum of understanding with Pioneers Academy on January 24, 2021, with the goal of offering joint training programs and courses, supporting scientific activities at the university, and providing training grants and free remedial courses, such as English language proficiency exams for all university students.
The Academy is a certified center for training and consultancy in professional, administrative, and technical fields, headquartered in Amman, Jordan.
The Faculty of Information Technology at Al al-Bayt University continues to seek new agreements with private sector institutions to enhance training and employment opportunities for its students and to support research and development in line with labor market demands.
