Faculty of Arts and Humanities meets with new students

As part of the periodic meetings with new students, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities organized a meeting with its new students for the academic year 2025-2026 to introduce the students to the faculty and its specializations, in the presence of the faculty's teaching and administrative staff.

The Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Ayed Taran, spoke about the new university stage in the students' lives, which requires them to persevere, insist, seize opportunities, and overcome obstacles in order to acquire science and knowledge, and then compete in the labor market, stressing that university life constitutes an integrated environment for learning, growth, interaction, skills development, and discovery of capabilities, calling on students to be role models in behavior and have a positive impact in the fields of science and work.

For his part, the head of the History Department at the college, Dr. Khader Al-Sarhan, stressed the students' need to participate in cultural exchange programs between Al al-Bayt University and international universities, as it is a great opportunity to develop students' skills and gain foreign experiences. He also pointed to the creation of the Higher Diploma for Non-Arabic Speakers, and the use of modern technology in applied geography.

The Head of the Arabic Language Department, Dr. Nart Qakhun, explained the instructions and regulations for students at Al al-Bayt University, where he stressed the students' need to adhere to the study plan and refer to the teacher or academic advisor to avoid falling into academic problems that may delay the student's graduation.

For her part, the Head of the Department of Applied Geography, Dr. Maisoun Al-Zaghoul, provided a detailed explanation of the student discipline system in place at the university, and how to register and participate in the community service program as a basic requirement before graduation.

At the end of the meeting, the heads of departments answered students' questions and inquiries.​
