A workshop introducing entrepreneurship and small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Faculty of Business, in cooperation with the Center of Excellence and Innovation for Entrepreneurship, and the Business and Professional Women's Club, organized an introductory workshop on "Entrepreneurship and the Concept of Small and Medium Enterprises" in the Al-Bukhit Amphitheater at the Faculty of Business at the University.


Dean of the Faculty of Business, Dr. Marai Bani Khaled, affirmed that the college seeks to establish a clear message based on keeping pace with the developments of the times and the requirements of the labor market, focusing on the importance of extracurricular activities as a practical means to apply the concepts of administrative sciences, explaining that the workshop is a true translation of the culture of entrepreneurship, and support for transforming creative ideas into viable economic projects, contributing to building a knowledge-based and national economy.


For his part, the Director of the Center for Sustainable Development and Women's Empowerment, Dr. Hatem Al-Masaeed, pointed out the importance of such workshops in enabling students to access funding and support opportunities, which enhances their economic capabilities.


Thana Khasawneh, President of the Business and Professional Women's Club, also presented an overview of the association, explaining its goals and vision, which focuses on three main pillars: empowerment for projects, professional development, and creating positive change. She directed the students to acquire and develop skills, stressing that entrepreneurship is "a lifestyle and culture."


Iman Abu Suleiman, Projects Manager at the association, reviewed the concept of the "unique project" and ways to develop capabilities and deal with opportunities, while trainer Dina Abu Ayash spoke about the importance of small projects as a fundamental pillar of the national economy, explaining that the entrepreneur is the one who takes the initiative to organize the project and transform the idea into an economic opportunity. Amal Daglas also shared her personal experience in community investment and volunteer work, stressing the importance of entrepreneurial work in serving communities.


At the conclusion of the workshop, which witnessed the participation and attendance of faculty members and university students and was presented and managed by Professor Dr. Muhammad Nasser Mashaqa from the Faculty of Business, who stressed that we at the university believe that these efforts must be linked to the concept of sustainability, in line with the university's goals and its mission to prepare a conscious and responsible generation, capable of actively contributing to building a knowledge-based economy, a developed society, and a brighter future, a wide-ranging dialogue took place with the attendees.​
