Faculty of Educational Sciences honors the first female student with hearing challenges to discuss a master's thesis
Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Professor Yousef Miqdadi, the college organized an honoring ceremony for the student Haya Ghazi Ahmed Al-Khamayseh from the Department of Educational Administration and Foundations, in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement after discussing her master's thesis entitled:
"The Degree of Entrepreneurial Behavior Practice among Principals of Public Schools in the Ramtha Brigade Education," which came as a completion of the requirements for obtaining a master's degree in Educational Administration.
This achievement is the first of its kind at Al al-Bayt University, as student Al-Khamayseh is the first student with hearing and speech challenges (deaf and mute) to discuss a master's thesis. This achievement reflects the university's firm commitment to integrating students with special needs and providing an inclusive and stimulating educational environment that enables them to achieve their academic and professional aspirations.
The honoring ceremony came as a student initiative from students of the course "Rights, Ethics, and Laws in Special Education," taught by Professor Ibrahim Al-Zoubi from the Department of Curricula and Teaching, where the students presented symbolic gifts to the student in appreciation of her excellence and strong will.
The ceremony was attended by Professor Ihsan Al-Khaldi, representing the Head of the Department of Psychological Sciences and Special Education, and Dr. Mamoun Al-Zboon, Head of the Department of Curricula and Teaching, in addition to a number of faculty members and the student's colleagues, who expressed their pride in this inspiring achievement, stressing that it constitutes a model to be emulated in perseverance and overcoming challenges.
