The Department of Political Education and Educational Guidance at the Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with the Italian organization "Terre des Hommes," held a lecture for university students on the rights of persons with disabilities and their role in society. Dr. Ihsan Al-Khalidi from the Faculty of Educational Sciences spoke on behalf of the university about the rights of persons with disabilities and their role in protecting society, reinforcing his points with real-life examples from the personal experiences of university students with disabilities. On the sidelines of the lecture, the Arab Women's Association and the UNHCR presented educational information on reducing marriage under the age of 18. The Italian organization "Terre des Hommes" was represented by the Protection Officer, Hamza Atiyat, and the Liaison Officer, Rasha Al-Khalidi. The lecture was supervised by the Head of the Disability Division, Mr. Alaa Al-Jumaan.​​​
