Under the patronage of the University President, Professor Osama Nusair, the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, in coordination with the Royal Medical Services, held a blood donation event today, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, for the benefit of patients at the Oncology Center in the Directorate of Royal Medical Services.

During the opening, the University President reviewed the arrangements and stages of the donation process, which was supervised by a number of dedicated personnel from the Directorate of Royal Medical Services, with the participation of faculty and administrative staff, and students from the Department of Medical Analysis and the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences. The President spoke with a number of student donors, praising their spirit of giving and generosity as they donate their blood for the benefit of a dear and needy group of our community members, cancer patients at the Oncology Center of the Directorate of Royal Medical Services, which provides its services to various segments of society in our dear country.

With the announcement of this humanitarian campaign, which reflects the spirit of solidarity and giving among the people of Jordanian society, students from Al al-Bayt University from various faculties and disciplines rushed to participate in it. At the end of the campaign, (170) units of blood were donated, in a campaign that is considered the largest among Jordanian university students.
