Distinguished participation of our student Hussam Shawaqfeh with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
As Al al-Bayt University seeks to support its distinguished students, Hussam Shawaqfeh, a student from the College of Business majoring in Digital Marketing, participated in a number of international initiatives of the International Telecommunication Union:
He was selected from among more than 3,000 Arab youth in the Generation Connect program, where he reached the final stage, which qualified him to represent the entire Arab region in the I-CoDI program in Dubai, and presented a project entitled:
"A prosperous and sustainable society with high standards of living, giving us an environmentally friendly economy."
At the Regional Development Forum (RDF-ARB) held in Amman, he was selected as one of the official speakers before prominent figures, including His Excellency the Minister of Digital Economy, Eng. Sami Smirat, the CEO of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, Eng. Bassam Al-Sarhan, and the Director-General of the Telecommunication Development Bureau, Mr. Cosmas Zavazava at the ITU, where he presented the outputs of the I-CoDI workshop.
He also participated in the "Digitally Accessible Arab Region" conference, which highlighted future initiatives in the field of digital inclusion at the level of the Arab world, with the participation of academic, governmental, and youth entities.
