In celebration of the Jordanian Flag Day, and within the government's plan to intensify efforts and enhance the symbolism of this national day, the President of Al al-Bayt University, Professor Osama Nusair, sponsored the celebration organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, which comes in consolidation of the symbolism of the Jordanian flag and its national connotations, and a renewal of the covenant to the nation and the leadership. The event was held in conjunction with the national celebrations of Flag Day, in front of the sports hall, in the presence of the Vice Presidents of the University, members of the academic and administrative staff, and university students.

After the Royal Anthem was played, the Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, Professor Ahmed Al-Alaونة, delivered a speech on behalf of the President of the University, in which he affirmed that "Jordanians are proud of their banner, which encapsulates the civilizations and glories of the Arabs and their sacrifices, in a kingdom that sought unity and glory for all Arabs, so that the Jordanian flag remains a banner of victory and a title of hope, in the darkest of circumstances." He added: "This nation, whose sons are content with its bread, will remain lofty, mighty, and strong, unbreakable under its Hashemite banner, because the flag is the eternal symbol that embodies the sovereignty of the nation, its unity, and its identity."

For his part, the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Saif Al-Shubiel, explained that the National Flag Day is a story of a nation, history, and struggle, and it is a symbol of the unity of the Jordanian people, an embodiment of national constants, and a sincere expression of loyalty and belonging, renewing on this occasion the pledge to stand behind the wise Hashemite leadership with pride, so that this precious memory is an incentive for more giving, achievement, and diligence.

The flag-raising event, which bore the slogan "Our Flag is High," included the distribution of flags to university students to raise them, and the pillars and columns in the main streets inside the university, and on its buildings, colleges, centers, and institutes were decorated. The Scout Troop also participated in a march to raise the Jordanian flags in front of the audience, while the Deanship of Student Affairs distributed sweets in celebration of this occasion. The event concluded with artistic performances that included national songs and chants.
