The Public Relations Department is one of the most important departments at the university, established alongside the university itself in 1993. This department acts as a vital link between the university's academic, scientific, and administrative components, as well as between the university and the local and international community. It reports directly to the university president and handles all matters related to:
- Visual and audio media, as well as electronic and printed media.
- Cultural relations, including academic agreements and international relations.
- Public relations, such as hospitality, receptions, conferences, and seminars.
The department regularly prepares newsletters and press reports about the university's scientific, cultural, artistic, and sports activities, covering all student activities and scientific achievements, both internal and external, and disseminating this information through all visual and audio media and its electronic library.
The Public Relations and Media Department is responsible for providing local, Arabic, and international media—including print, audio, and visual—with all media and advertising materials related to the university.
