Meeting with graduate students
The Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Khazaali, met with the new students at the college in the presence of the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Muhammad Shadifat, the Assistant Dean of the College, Mr. Nidal Al-Shaqran, and a number of Vice Deans of various colleges and members of the teaching and administrative staff at the university.
Dean Al-Khazaali began the meeting by welcoming the college students, conveying the greetings of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Osama Naseer, welcoming them as graduate students and congratulating them on joining the constellation of students at the university.
The Dean of the College provided a brief overview of the College of Graduate Studies, introducing the organizational structure of the college and its offered programs: Master's, Doctorate, and Higher Diploma.
The Dean pointed out that the learning rate is high in Jordan and the college’s goal for the graduate student at Al al-Bayt University should be more than just learning, which is excellence. Therefore, Al al-Bayt University will strive for the graduate of the College of Graduate Studies to have a preferential status in the labor market, so that his submitted message keeps pace with the latest developments in the labor market. This is what the Deanship of the College seeks, so that the research titles have value and are carefully and accurately studied for the needs of society and do not reach repetition. The Dean of the College added that the Deanship will strive to hold workshops on the market’s requirements and needs and the titles that interest the local community, especially in the city of Mafraq, due to its need for numerous studies and workshops on how to document and others. For his part, Dr. Muhammad Shadifat, Vice Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, spoke about many topics of interest to students, such as the university assessment of importance, issues and problems facing students, financial support for university thesis projects, computerized models, and writing the thesis using LATEX software. The Head of the Supervision and Committees Division, Mr. Muhammad Al-Qalab, the Head of the Student Affairs Division, Dr. Maryam Al-Huwaidi, and the representative of the Graduate Studies Division in the Admissions and Registration Department, Mr. Ibadah Hassan, participated in answering students’ questions and inquiries.
