Student Affairs Deanship Organizes an Artistic Ceremony to Welcome New Students

On behalf of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Osama Nusie​r, the Vice President of the University for Community Affairs and International Relations, Professor Dr. Hani Akho Arsheida, sponsored the artistic ceremony organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs at the University for new students, in the presence of a number of deans of faculties, directors of departments, faculty and administrative staff, and new students, which was held in the Al-Hussein bin Ali Amphitheater at the University.

The representative of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Hani Akho Arsheida, expressed the University's joy at meeting the new students and their joining the large university family and their academic launch, noting that the University is keen to provide a comprehensive educational and cultural university environment, expressing the love of all Jordanians for the leadership and the homeland, and stressing that distinguished students are the best ambassadors for this University, and that new students should invest this stage by acquiring knowledge, developing talents and developing skills.

Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Alimat, addressed the new students, saying in his welcoming speech, "that all departments of the Deanship of Student Affairs were established to serve you with continuous support and a distinguished university environment for you, through holding many different purposeful activities, arming its students with the tools of the modern era in training and rehabilitation, and holding sports activities, workshops and seminars that contribute to integrating students into university life, which refines their talents and enhances their personalities."

The ceremony, which was presented and directed by Muhammad Al-Shawqafa and organized by the Department of Cultural and Artistic Activity at the University, included poetic segments, musical pieces and performances, songs and national chants presented by the University band led by the artist Ghaleb Khouri, which won the approval of the audience.
