adjustment to the Jordanian Personal Status Law No. (36) for the year 2010 based on the Maliki jurisprudence: a comparative study

The study showed amendments to the Jordanian Personal Status Law, the justifications of these amendments and their compatibility with contemporary developments. The methodology used by the judge of the judge in the amendments of the law and the steps taken by it to reach the maximum accuracy, and away from the lapses, both on the level of content or the level of drafting, and the methodology of expansion on Islamic jurisprudence in general added the advantage of the law in the follow-up developments. The study found that the Maliki school was present in the Jordanian Personal Status Law in some matters, including the personal status law of Brai Imam Malik alone as opposed to the public, among which it agrees with Shafi'i or Ahmad ibn Hanbal, unlike Abi Hanifa
