Scientific Research: Its Concept, Objectives, and Impact on Preserving the Necessary Purposes of Islamic Law

The purpose of this paper is to identify the significance of academic research and how it can play a crucial role in the development of our current human life and improve its quality. The researcher also seeks to show the significance of scientific research in Islamic legislation and its role in preserving the major purposes of Islamic sharia namely, the preservation of religion, soul, generation, mind and money. The study has come to the conclusion that scientific research is the greatest way to preserve the necessities of sharia and preserve the dignity of the nation.
