This study deals with alternative means of settling disputes - reform, mediation and family conciliation under the Jordanian legislation and its role in achieving family security through its advantages, objectives, mechanisms of work and ways of forming its committees. The researchers concluded that the use of alternative means to settle family disputes is the best and most serious way to achieve family security. The Jordanian legislator has taken care of this aspect through various legal legislations. Therefore, the researchers recommend the necessity of implementing the legal legislations regarding personal status with regard to settling family disputes. This aspect should be given great importance through the relevant forums and work to highlight the importance of these means and their role in achieving family security.
