Dimensions of American-Jordanian Relations in Light of the Current Challenges 1999-2018

This study aimed to shed light on the importance of the dimensions of Jordanian-American relations, as it facilitates the achievement of their national interests. The study answered the main question: What are the US political, economic, and military dimensions, while determining the dimensions and elements of this relationship? The study used the descriptive analytical approach because of its relevance to this type of study. The study concluded that Jordan should seek to develop its relations with the major powers, especially the United States, which is a global political and economic power, from which Jordan can receive support and assistance in the face of threats. Especially with the US foreign policy being directed towards the Middle East; it needs a strategic ally such as Jordan, which enables it to protect its interests against penetration. Jordan should also move strongly towards international changes because of its geopolitical position, since this Arab region is a competitive arena across the various decades.
