Launch of the Professional Accelerator Program at the College of IT in Collaboration with INJAZ and the Ministry of Digital Economy
As part of the Youth, Technology, and Jobs Project presented by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, the Prince Hussein bin Abdullah College of Information Technology hosted a team from the INJAZ Foundation, which is responsible for delivering the training within the project.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Jaradat, along with several faculty members and students. During the session, the launch of the Professional Accelerator Program was announced, which aims to empower a group of IT and computer specialists with training experience in various sectors to become certified trainers.
Through this program, trainers will provide specialized training courses in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft programs for university students majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering, as well as Mathematics and Physics. The initiative will grant 2,500 participants the opportunity to earn internationally recognized certificates. Moreover, top-performing participants will have the chance to join the job market within the program framework.
The INJAZ team also met with students of the college to inform them about the available training and employment opportunities, and with faculty members to discuss registration opportunities as certified trainers within the program.
