Fostering Employees Innovative Work Behavior Intentions The Roles of Agile Human Resource Management Systems InnovationSupportive Climate and Creative SelfEfficacy
This research investigates the direct and indirect relationships between agile human resource management (AHRM) systems, an innovation-supportive climate (ISC), creative self-efficacy (CSE), and employees? innovative work behavior intentions (IWBI) within public sector organizations in Jordan. Based on a cross-sectional study of 742 public sector employees and using structural equation modeling (SEM), the findings demonstrate that AHRM systems directly and positively predict employees' IWBI, as well as indirectly through the mediating roles of ISC and CSE. Furthermore, employees with higher levels of CSE exhibit stronger intentions to engage in innovative behaviors. The study highlights the critical role of agile HR processes in fostering an organizational culture that promotes innovation while simultaneously boosting employees' confidence in their creative capabilities.
