Generative AI and Workforce Resilience Enhancing Enterprise Productivity and Sustainable Economic Development in Emerging Markets
This study analyzes the impact of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) on improving workforce resilience, enterprise productivity, and sustainable economic development in emerging markets. Utilizing a secondary research approach based on theoretical literature, industry reports, and international statistics, the paper finds that generative AI enhances operational efficiency and productivity?increasing task efficiency by around 15 percent and driving labor productivity?by automating processes, improving decision-making, and facilitating human-AI collaboration. However, the paper identifies critical challenges hindering effective adoption, including significant workforce skill bottlenecks (with nearly 40 percent of employees requiring reskilling), digital infrastructure deficits, technology access inequalities, and concerns regarding job displacement. Ultimately, the study concludes that realizing sustainable productivity and long-term economic stability requires balanced, inclusive strategies, including targeted investments in workforce development, non-discriminatory policies, and ethical governance frameworks.
