Department In Brief

The Department of Psychological Sciences and Special Education was established at the beginning of the academic year (2011/2012), after introducing the specialty of Special Education at the bachelor's level. This Department grants certificates and degrees at the levels of bachelor in Special Education, Child Education, in addition to granting a vocational diploma in Learning Difficulties.

This Department includes (12) faculty members who hold  PhDs in educational psychology, measurement  and psychological evaluation, counseling and mental health, and special education. This Department has a  secretary who has a bachelor's certificate. The Department  has aspirations and plans to open other specializations and programs at undergraduate  and master levels  to keep up with the  specialized needs of the local community and Arab World.
