Main Tasks

· Regularly monitor the university's network infrastructure and ensure the continuous availability of internet services in all university facilities.

· Resolve all internet-related issues immediately when they occur.

· Coordinate with the Security Division to enforce security policies within the internal network.

· Expand the network to cover newly established departments.

· Monitor and manage all network-related tenders and purchase requests, such as wireless services, new surveillance cameras, and biometric systems.

· Regularly monitor the surveillance camera system.

· Manage the employee attendance system and resolve technical issues related to the biometric system.

· Define the technical specifications of computing devices and accessories.

· Receive devices and related equipment, install, and prepare them for operation.

· Perform necessary technical maintenance for all desktop and laptop computers and accessories.

· Participate in training courses held by the Consultation and Training Center.

· Ensure the continuity of operation of computers and their accessories.

· Provide training on computing devices and software to staff members who use such software.

· Ensure the users' devices are connected to the information network in coordination with the Networks Department.

· Execute all technical tasks related to maintaining networks, lines, and exchanges.

· Maintain and repair telephones and fax machines used at the university and communication system accessories.

· Manage all incoming and outgoing internal and external calls to the university and direct them to the concerned departments during and after working hours.

· Monitor and maintain the automatic exchange system and perform necessary maintenance on the main servers (IP, Digital, Analog).

· Install and operate new phone lines and extend them to various university facilities.

· Monitor maintenance contracts and ensure companies fulfill their obligations.
