يتكون مركز بحوث البيئة والمياه والبيئة من الوحدات الإدارية التالية:
- شعبة الدراسات والابحاث: تهدف هذه
الشعبة إلى إجراء البحوث والدراسات العلمية في مجالات المياه والبيئة والطاقة والتي
تشمل دراسات موارد المياه والطاقة وإدارتها وتقييم الآثار البيئية للمشاريع وتقديم
الخدمات في مجال الرصد والوعي البيئي والتصاميم البيئية الهندسية
والمشاركة في وضع التشريعات البيئية وعقد المؤتمرات والندوات .
- شعبة نوعية المياه : تهدف هذه
الشعبة إلى إجراء التحاليل الكيميائية والبيولوجية لمياه الشرب والمياه العادمة.
- شعبة المواد الصلبة والعضوية: تهدف هذه الشعبة إلى إجراء التحاليل الكيميائية للصخور والمواد العضوية الصلبة والسائلة.
