The Efficiency of Children TV Programs in Linguistic Development of Kindergartners from Teachers? Perspective
The study aims at revealing the efficiency of children TV programs in linguistic development of kindergartners from teachers? perspective. For the purpose of the study, the researcher prepared a questionnaire consists of 30 items; distributed on a sample of 100 teachers (male and female). The answers were analyzed statistically. The analyses have shown that children TV programs contributed in increasing the linguistic development of kindergartners from teachers? perspective in the following skills respectively: listening, speaking, reading and writing. The items related to the skill of listening have got the highest average, then speaking, reading and finally writing. The analyses of the Three-Way Anova reveal a significant statistical difference in teachers? perspective due to the effect of specialization in favor of the Arabic Language specialization, and a significant statistical difference due to the effect of experience in favor of experience from 6 to 10 years, but there is no significant statistical difference due to the scientific qualifications.
