The Effect of Using Language Games on Improving the Speaking Skills of the Third Grade Students in the Schools of the North West Badia.
The study aimed at finding out the effect of using language games on improving the speaking skills of the third grade students in the schools of the North West Badia. A semi-experimental approach was used in this study. The study sample consisted of (30) students who were divided into two groups. The experimental group studied using language games while the control group studied in the usual way. A test was prepared. It consisted of one question in which every student spoke about the mother's Day in no more than three minutes. The correction was carried out according to specific criteria, and the researcher verified the validity and reliability of the test. The study found that there were significance statistical differences in the speaking skills between the two groups in favor of the experimental group which studied using language games. In the light of the findings, the study reached a number of relevant recommendations.
