AABU 4th Programming Contest 2024
As part of the academic activities organized by the Prince Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II Faculty of Information Technology, the 4th AABU Programming Contest 2024 was held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the Musallam Building labs. This contest focused on problem-solving, modeled after the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), with the aim of training students and enhancing their diverse programming skills to meet the demands of the job market.
The competition was opened by the Dean of the College, Prof. Mohammed Al-Jaradat, with the attendance of Dr. Wael Wahid Al-Qasas, Head of the Computer Science Department, and Dr. Anas Jebreen, Vice Dean. A total of 42 outstanding students participated, forming 13 teams that competed for three hours to solve a series of programming problems in an atmosphere of interaction and enthusiasm.
The contest was prepared and judged by Mr. Abdulrahim Jaradat, a specialist in organizing and judging such competitions, under the supervision of Dr. Wael Wahid Al-Qasas.
The results were as follows:
- First Place: Qusai Abu Shehadeh, Rawan Al-Hartani, Qais Al-Azzam
- Second Place: Ahmed Al-Qaisi, Khaled Al-Nasser, Bakr Abu Sarhan
- Third Place: Adnan Kazan, Bashar Shaqour, Mustafa Abu Ghuraibah
