Students from the Faculty of Information Technology Participate in Mediverse 2025 with a Project on Lung Cancer Diagnosis Using Artificial Intelligence
A team of students from the Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II Faculty of Information Technology, under the supervision of Dr. Suhaileh Farhan Abu Owaidah from the Department of Computer Science, participated in the Gallery Stage as part of the Mediverse 2025 Conference, in its second edition, which was held at the Amman Academy Theater on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
The team presented an outstanding project titled:
"Lung Cancer Diagnosis using Deep Learning and CNN",
which highlights the use of artificial intelligence technologies—specifically Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN)—for the early and accurate diagnosis of lung cancer.
