Collaboration Between the Ministry of Higher Education and Google Allows University Students in Jordan to Use the Paid Version of Gemini for Free

Amman – The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced a collaboration with Google, under the initiatives of the National Council for Future Technology, to enable all university students across the Kingdom to use the paid version of Google Gemini, one of the most advanced generative artificial intelligence tools, for free for one year.

The Ministry stated in a press release on Monday that students’ personal Gmail accounts will be used for verification, and their current enrollment status will be confirmed to qualify for the offer.

The Ministry emphasized that providing university students with AI tools helps develop skills, enhance capabilities, and foster innovation—aligning with the directives of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II to integrate artificial intelligence in education.

Students will have access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, which includes advanced learning features such as deep research, as well as the ability to generate content, text, images, and videos. The offer also includes access to NotebookLM, a valuable tool for researchers, and 2 terabytes of storage space on Google Drive and Google Photos.

All university students in Jordan aged 18 and above can register for the one-year free subscription starting from the date of registration and before December 9, through the following website:
