Al-Dmour participates in Al Al-Bayt University Alumni Forum in Malaysia via video communication technology

Al al-Bayt University Alumni Association in Malaysia held the 2nd alumni forum of 2022 in the Malaysian city of Selangor, with the participation of 250 participants from various Malaysian cities.

Prof. Hani Al-Dmour, President of the University, gave a speech via Zoom technology, in which he expressed his appreciation and happiness for communicating with Malaysian students who graduated from Al al-Bayt University over the past years. He added that the university developed all academic and educational programs in its various colleges, institutes and centers, including the Language Center, which offers programs for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. These programs received great attention from the university to be distinguished at the level of education locally and internationally. As such, they attracted non-Arabic speakers from different countries, especially the friendly Kingdom of Malaysia.

Al-Dmour concluded his speech by thanking the friendly State of Malaysia for its confidence in Al al-Bayt University and its accreditation as an academic institution to teach its students in a safe environment in all respects.

The forum's activities included speeches presented by the Head of Al Al-Bayt University Alumni Association in Malaysia, Wan Rumezi and Wan Hussain (a graduate of 1999). After the inauguration, a short lecture entitled the role of Al al-Bayt University graduates in the Da'wa movement in Malaysia was given by Prof. Adnan bin Mohammad Yusuf (a graduate of 2000). Associate Professor Mohammad Farid Rawi bin Abdullah (a graduate 2000) also gave a lecture entitled "Challenges of the Da'wa Movement for Non-Muslims in Malaysia". Dr. Ayn Wazir (a graduate of 2001) gave a lecture entitled “The Role of Al al-Bayt University Graduates in Building Malaysian Society."

It should be noted that since 1999, the university has graduated many international students, especially Malaysians, who have assumed advanced leadership positions in their country. The credit for this is due to the strength of the Arabic language programs offered by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Language Center, whose programs are subject to constant updating and the development of its curricula. The Language Center, through the Summer Camp for Non-Native Arabic Speakers, is currently seeking to offer intensive programs for a limited period of time in consistent with the scholars' desire in terms of period, school hours, and the subsequent provision of accommodation, housing on campus, food, scientific and tourist trips, and integration into and coexistence with the local community. The Center is in the process of providing online education programs for non-Arabic speakers using modern methods.
