Financial Aid for Students (Bachelor)

The Student Services and Welfare Department provides a financial aid program for needy students at the beginning of each semester after the announcement on the university website. Then, students fill in the form prepared by the department based on the required documents. In the event that the foundations apply to the students, a relevant committee examines a list of the names of the students applying for aid, and keeps in balance a sum of money as part of the credit hour fees.

Terms of Applying for Aid:

  • The student shall have finished at least one academic semester
  • The student shall have a cumulative average not less than (60%).
  • The student shall not have a scholarship or grant by any internal or external authority (the student's expense is private).
  • The student shall not have been subjected to any disciplinary penalty during the period of his study at the university.
  • The student shall not have applied to work within the student employment program for the same semester
  • The student shall not be employed by an official or private body.

*Procedures Required to Accept the Application of Financial Aid for Students Who Suffer from Difficult Financial Conditions

Stamping the form approved by the Student Services and Welfare Department from the concerned departments as shown below:

  1. Explanations of the National Aid Fund office for students whose families receive a salary from the fund only.
  2. Explanations of the Social Security Fund office (for the father, mother, student) if any of them are participants or beneficiaries of the institution.
  3. Explanations of the Secretary-General of Greater Amman/ (Municipalities) (father, mother, student) as to whether any of them own any real estate, shops, crafts, or any profession licenses within the municipalities' areas, for the purposes of completing the procedures necessary to provide financial support.
  4. Explanations of the Directorate of Civil Financial Retirement (father, mother, student) to indicate current or pension salaries.
