الخصائص السيكومتربية لمقياس لمقياس الكمالية الثلاث الكبرى المعرب على البيئة الاردنية
The current study aimed to examine the factor structure of the Arabized Jordanian version of the Big Three Perfectionism Scale (BTPS) which is consisted of 45 items distributed on 10 facets and three higher-order factors i.e., rigid perfectionism, self-critical perfectionism, and narcissistic perfectionism. Data were collected from 937 undergraduate male and female students in a public Jordanian university. The results of item analyses revealed acceptable point-biserial correlation coefficients and coefficients of skewness and kurtosis. The findings of 10 separate EFAs on the facet level indicated facet unidimensionality. Three global factors were retained when the data were analyzed using the second-order EFA. The findings were in line with the hypothesis stating that perfectionism is a multidimensional rather than a unidimensional construct. The findings also indicated excellent facet and factor-level internal consistency coefficients. Overall, the findings provided support for the psychometric properties of the Arabized Jordanian version of the BTPS. Therefore, the current Arabized Jordanian scale may be used in research and clinical settings in Jordan
